• Help others to SMILE by raising funds for your local community SMILE was largely created to raise
funds for the local community, whether it be for schools, social or sporting clubs, trade associations or charities. Thus, all 'profits' from the sale of a SMILE card will be donated to local causes and, assuming an administration cost of £5 per user, this means that £15 of a £20 12-month SMILE card (and £10 of a £15 12-month SMILE card 'renewal') will go back into the local community. Purchasers of the SMILE
card can select the local cause they wish the donation to go to. Moreover, by spreading the word about SMILE and recommending purchasers to nominate a particular local cause when purchasing their card, ANYONE can raise funds for their favourite local,
recognised social, community or charitable organisation they like. Here are
some examples: Trinity Hospice, Belleville
School PTA, Thrive, Battersea Ironsides, Ascension Balham Hill, The
Nightingale Walk, Treesforcities.org or The Abbeville Restaurant
(First Step Trust).
...we will donate £15 to the local community organisation of your choice
Referring
local people to SMILE is a great way of raising funds for your
organisation, charity, PTA, theatre group, local trade organisation,
your company's favourite charity or the like, while supporting local
businesses at the same time. Mention SMILE in your press releases, in
your e-newsletter, on your website or at your next meeting, and any
time someone purchases a £20 SMILE membership and nominates your organisation... We
believe SMILE is a great way of raising money for local organisations,
so - to support you even more - if you work with us to sell SMILE cards
directly through your website, e-newsletters or at a local event, your organisation will receive 75% of the revenue. The introductory cost of a 12-month SMILE membership is £20, so... If
your organisation can help spread the word about SMILE or sell the
SMILE card's directly, there may be opportunities for free publicity in
our partner publications Essential Local magazine, InsideBattersea.co.uk, InsideBalham.co.uk and InsideClapham.co.uk. Please ask for details.
